Each year, the New York Times releases its “52 Places To Go in 2018” article, a round-up of world’s most interesting places, and this year, Spain made the list twice. The city of Sevilla was listed at number 19 and Ribera Del Duero, the only wine region to make the list, came in at number 48.
Highlights from the feature include, “Despite playing second fiddle to Rioja, the region around the Duero River (before it crosses into Portugal and becomes the Douro) produces oenophile favorites like Protos — in a Richard Rogers-designed winery — and Arzuaga, among many others. ”
