Wines From Spain returned for its 26th year to showcase the diversity of Spanish wines through seminars and tastings at the 2018 Food & Wine Classic in Aspen.
Kicking off the festival, Wines From Spain hosted its annual “Welcome Event” co-hosted by Chef Seamus Mullen, the award-winning New York City based chef, restaurateur and cookbook author, known for his inventive yet approachable Spanish cuisine. In 2011, Chef Mullen opened his first solo restaurant, Tertulia, which was a finalist for the James Beard Foundation Award for Best New Restaurant.
From June 15-17th, Wines From Spain also returned to its iconic Grand Tasting tent in the center of Wagner Park, joined by regional associations, importers and winery representatives, all pouring incredible wines from all corners of Spain. The tent also featured an array of Spanish food products and tapas prepared by Chef Javier González-Bringas.
